At 9:28 am on February 18, local time in Zimbabwe, Huaxin Zimbabwe's 300,000-ton annual grinding station project was officially put into operation. As Huaxin's first overseas project to be completed and put into operation in 2025, it has won a "good start" for the development of overseas business in the new year. The project is located near Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. Since its launch in September 2024, with the joint efforts of the project team, it has overcome multiple challenges such as weak local infrastructure and logistics and transportation difficulties, and finally achieved production. As the company's 12th factory officially operating in overseas countries, and also the company's sixth factory in African countries, after the project is put into production, it will further improve the overall level of the local cement industry through advanced production technology and equipment, high-quality products and services, reduce Zimbabwe's dependence on cement imports, provide employment opportunities and considerable tax revenue, and make positive contributions to local economic and social development. The smooth commissioning of the Zimbabwe project is another vivid practice of the company's implementation of its overseas development strategy. In the future, the factory will continue to uphold the concept of "crossing mountains and seas, building global dreams", accelerate the construction of subsequent projects and market expansion, continuously enhance Huaxin's influence and competitiveness in the African market, and contribute to the company's construction of a world-leading multinational building materials group.
